I am so glad you're here. My name is Randi and I am honored to serve the Belleville/Metro Detroit community. I know it can be overwhelming trying a new stylist so I wanted to share a bit about my background so you won't be going in cold!

As a child I observed my mother in her hair salon, attended trade shows along with her, and ambitiously desired to follow in her footsteps. I joined the hair industry 15 years ago, building my foundation in education at the prestigious Douglas J Aveda Institute. I continue to pursue advanced education through hands-on training and exclusive professional forums, allowing me to bring refined, modern techniques into every client experience.
As a wife, mother of a fabulous and fun-loving 7 year old, and stage 3 breast cancer survivor, I have come to understand the importance of radical self-care. My personal life experiences have deepened my belief in self-care, grace, and honoring your body. I’ve remained committed to my craft because enhancing beauty and restoring confidence genuinely fuels me. It’s also why I’m passionate about offering a peaceful, private salon experience where every woman feels seen, cared for, and uplifted. I understand firsthand how much those moments matter.

At Randi Hicks Hair Care, I invite you to experience “The Hicks Difference.” Gone are the days of long wait times and poor communication. When you are in my chair, you are my priority. Everything that we do here is executed with an emphasis on health and total well being, integrity within all business practices, care and sensitivity to client needs, knowledgeability and commitment to continuing education, all while promoting timeless and sophisticated hair styling.
Outside of my passion for haircare, travel makes me feel alive. I am never not planning a vacation! I have an insatiable craving for new experiences, unveiling a new piece of myself every time I visit a new city. I find new energy and excitement for my work through experiencing different cultures. When I can’t get away I tend to soothe my inner wanderlust by visiting new restaurants and coffee shops. I love hearing my guests’ favorite places to explore, both near and far, or even a favorite Netflix series to binge watch! Let’s be honest…we all can get lost there!
